Growing up in Florida, I had the opportunity to shop on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. The specialized boutiques and haute couture fascinated me as a young girl. My interest in fashion piqued during studies abroad in Florence, Italy. During this magical time, I often wandered along Via Tornabuoni, Via del Corso, and the Ponte Vecchio visiting the incredible boutiques, fabric shops and the famous leather market. The fashion and the appreciation for the talent, dedication and creativity of these craftsmen planted the seeds for AUGUST.  The name AUGUST came from when I first started my handbag line and was pregnant with my first child, who was due in August.  It seemed perfect then and even more perfect now.  I want the shop to evoke the feeling of those long, sunny summer days where we are relaxed and grateful.

AUGUST is truly a dream come true for me.  My vision was to create an inviting space to shop curated looks from each season sprinkled with fun jewelry, special home goods, carefully selected gifts and of course, handbags and clutches from my own line, AUGUST DESIGNS.
